The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has commenced the distribution of 45,000 U-Lesson educational tablets to primary and secondary schools in the Niger Delta region.

At the flag-off event in Yenagoa, NDDC Managing Director, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, emphasized the commission’s commitment to enhancing education in the region through digital tools.

Ogbuku noted that this initiative aligns with the “Renewed Hope Agenda,” aiming to empower students and improve their academic performance by leveraging technology.

In addition to the tablets, the NDDC is providing training for teachers to ensure effective usage of the U-Lesson devices in classrooms.
