At the launch event of the nationwide My-G entertainment tour in Lagos, Morakinyo Olaolu, President of the Students Union Government (SUG) at Yaba College of Technology, praised Globacom’s My-G data offering as a valuable contribution to youth development, noting, “This is a good initiative for youth development. Echoing Olaolu’s sentiments, Adebobola Ayomide, SUG President of Lagos State University, highlighted the My-G package’s benefits for students’ online activity in both academic and social realms. “My-G will help the youth to stay more active online,” he said. He encouraged Globacom to introduce more student-focused packages that could enhance campus life. Similarly, Adekanye Ibukunoluwa, representing the University of Lagos SUG, appreciated Glo for considering youth needs, especially for academic research, social media, and entertainment. “We hope Glo will start bringing more activities to the campus so students can benefit from them regularly,” he added.
