Kola Daisi University celebrated its fourth convocation on November 8, 2024, with 20 students graduating with First-Class honours. A total of 156 students were awarded degrees, with 50 of them securing Second Class Upper Division honours.

In his address, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Adeniyi Olatunbosun, urged the graduands to embrace excellence and uphold the values of resourcefulness, integrity, and responsibility as they embark on their professional journeys.

The convocation ceremony also featured remarks from the chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Adeniyi Osuntogun, who encouraged the graduates to be courageous, innovative, and creative. Pro-chancellor Remi Babalola urged the students to break generational barriers and remain resolute in their pursuits. Chief Kola Daisi, the founder and chancellor of the university, also addressed the students, urging them to take the institution to greater heights.

In a compelling convocation lecture, Prof. Toyin Falola of the University of Texas discussed the challenges facing Nigeria, including bad governance, corruption, and ethnic distrust. He emphasized that progress could only be achieved through collective efforts and the commitment to democratic reform, highlighting the importance of values in shaping the nation’s future.
