With Nigeria facing an alarming 18.3 million out-of-school children, the UK-based Ibironke Adeagbo Foundation (IAF) is launching new initiatives to confront the issue.
Founder Ibironke Adeagbo announced the foundation’s commitment to supporting the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda by developing a “roadmap” to aid early childhood education. Speaking in Lagos, she emphasized the need for substantial funding, improved infrastructure, and collaboration with civil society to secure a brighter educational future for Nigeria’s marginalized children.
The foundation’s upcoming “Street to School: A Tech-Based Solution” summit in Lagos aims to generate practical strategies for addressing the education crisis, gathering key stakeholders for discussions and advocacy.
