The Summer 2025 MaritimeONE Internship Programme (MIP) is set to provide university undergraduates and polytechnic students with valuable hands-on experience in the maritime industry. Running from May to August 2025, the program will allow students to gain real-world skills, expand their professional networks, and work with leading maritime companies. According to the DAAD Scholarship Program, participating organizations include American Bureau of Shipping, Eastern Pacific Shipping, Hapag-Lloyd, and PSA Corporation.

The MIP offers diverse internship roles across various sectors, including engineering, business, finance, operations, marketing, and human resources. Some of the positions available include Maritime Intern, Fleet Optimization Intern, Automation Projects Intern, Finance Intern, Regional Sales Intern, Drybulk Operations Executive, and Marine Operations Intern. Marketing, communications, HR, and project management roles are also open for students from these disciplines. The program welcomes applications from all university and polytechnic students, regardless of their field of study.

To apply, interested students must be available for full-time internship work from May to August 2025 and possess strong communication and teamwork skills. Prior maritime experience is not required, but applicants should demonstrate a genuine interest in the industry. Students can submit their applications via the MaritimeONE website, selecting their preferred roles and uploading a tailored resume and cover letter. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews with host companies, and the application deadline is April 13, 2025.
