Crystal Education Media has extended an open invitation to schools across Abuja and beyond to participate in Education Hour, a weekly radio programme aired on Jordan FM 93.9 every Saturday from 9:00am to 10:00am.
The programme provides a dynamic platform for learners to engage in educational broadcasting through segments such as Education Weekly News Review, Students Speak, and Interactive Discussions. Participating schools will have their sessions recorded during the live broadcast and later streamed on YouTube and Facebook, giving learners wider visibility and digital media exposure.
According to CEM team, participation costs ₦4,000 per learner, with each school allowed a minimum of five and a maximum of ten learners per edition. The initiative is designed to promote confidence, communication skills, critical thinking, and media literacy among students.
In addition, the programme now includes provisions for school excursions, allowing learners to visit the radio station, experience live broadcasting firsthand, and gain practical insight into media operations.
Crystal Education Media noted that Education Hour continues to serve as a bridge between schools and the media, spotlighting student voices while promoting quality education conversations on air.
