The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Imo State Coordinator, Mrs. Rachel Idaewor, advised the 2024 Batch B Stream I Corps Members to utilize their orientation training in tackling various tasks throughout their service year.

Speaking at the closing ceremony at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Eziama Obaire, Nkwerre LGA, she emphasized that the intellectual and physical training received would equip them to handle any situation confidently.

Mrs. Idaewor encouraged the Corps Members to maintain discipline, loyalty, resourcefulness, patriotism, and diligence, and to integrate with their host communities by learning local languages and respecting cultures. She also urged them to engage in Community Development Service (CDS) projects to address the needs of their communities.

Highlighting the importance of safety, Mrs. Idaewor reminded the Corps Members to avoid night travel and unauthorized journeys, emphasizing that their security and welfare remain a top priority for the NYSC. She expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their support in the successful execution of the orientation course.
