In a significant move to address electrification issues, Akogun Wale Anomo, Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), fulfilled his promise by presenting a new 200 KVA transformer to Government College, Ketu, Lagos State.

The school had previously faced power outages due to a faulty transformer, and Anomo promptly responded to their appeal by providing a new one.

During the handover ceremony, Anomo emphasized his administration’s dedication to improving the educational environment and overall development of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA. He highlighted the importance of stable power supply in fostering academic excellence and creating a conducive learning atmosphere.

The principals of the Junior and Senior Schools expressed their gratitude, noting that the new transformer would significantly alleviate their power challenges.

Additionally, Anomo illuminated the streets of Orugbo-Iddo community as part of the ‘Light up Ikosi-Ejinrin initiative’, aimed at enhancing safety and security. He also inspected ongoing road rehabilitation projects in Ajebo community and the reconstruction of the Ikorodu-Itoikin highway, urging contractors to expedite the work to ensure timely completion and improve transportation for residents.
