The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has clarified that it is not responsible for the admission process for Higher National Diploma (HND) students.
In a statement by its Spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, JAMB emphasized that it has no involvement, authority, or control over HND admissions or other higher institution programs beyond its regular admissions.
JAMB also addressed accusations from some HND students who blamed the board for their inability to participate in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) due to part-time National Diploma (ND) programs. The board clarified that while it endorsed ND admissions, it has no connection to HND admissions and considers the allegations baseless.
JAMB further warned that some candidates have engaged in activities crossing into criminality, which the board intends to address.
