A tragic incident occurred in Ondo State when Habib Salau, a senior secondary student of Akoko Anglican Grammar School in Arigidi-Akoko, was fatally stabbed by a fellow student, Sandra, following a scuffle on Wednesday.

The altercation took place outside the school premises shortly after classes ended.

Sources revealed that Sandra, upon her arrest, admitted to obtaining the knife used in the attack from a student of Ajiroke Technical School. The police have since transferred the case to the Criminal Investigation Department for a thorough investigation.

The body of the deceased has been taken to the State Specialist Hospital in Ikare-Akoko for further procedures. Ondo State’s Commissioner for Police, Abayomi Oladipo, assured that the investigation would be handled with the utmost diligence.
