The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is set to kick off its annual Business Leader Challenge 2024, targeting university teams to develop innovative solutions to societal challenges.

Fifty-seven teams from nine universities will compete in this year’s event, sponsored by Coronation Merchant Bank and Stanbic IBTC Bank. The challenge offers students a chance to tackle real-life business issues and present their solutions to senior executives in finance and business management.

Associate Director at AICPA & CIMA, Ijeoma Anadozie, emphasized the event’s goal of nurturing future finance, accounting, and business leaders, following last year’s successful edition.

The competition aims to enhance participants’ business, leadership, and problem-solving skills, providing a platform for young talents to showcase their potential as the next generation of industry leaders in finance, digital, and business sectors.
