Judith Tsaaior, a 21-year-old corps member from Benue State currently serving at Taraba State University, has won the 11th edition of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Essay Competition organized by the African Biblical Leadership Initiative (ABLI).

Tsaaior, an English and Literary Studies graduate from Veritas University, Abuja, excelled among 200 participants with her essay on the theme “Raising a New Generation of Transformational Leaders.”

Pastor Samuel Sanusi, General Secretary of the Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN), announced the results at a National Symposium in Abuja. He highlighted that the competition, in its twelfth year, has attracted a BSN investment of N10 million, supporting the development of youth leadership across Nigeria.

Tsaaior scored 172.5 points and was awarded N400,000, a Holy Bible, management books, and a scholarship. Davina Williams, a corps member in Rivers State, took second place with a score of 172, winning N300,000, a Holy Bible, management books, and a scholarship. The third-place finalist also received a scholarship, while the remaining three finalists were recognized with monetary awards.
