Gov Bello presents 2024 budget of N258.2bn to Kogi Assembly
The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, on Monday, presented an appropriation bill of N258,278,501,339.00 for the year 2024 before the Kogi State House of Assembly for approval.This will be the last budget Governor Bello presents before leaving office on January 27th, 2024. Again, UNILORIN extends POST-UTME registration by one week
The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has approved an extension of POST-UTME registration by one week to cater for days of technical hitches.
This is contained in a statement issued in Ilorin on Sunday by Mr Mansur Alfanla, the university’s Registrar.

18 years after, Kechi Okwuchi honours Sosoliso crash victims
Kechi Okwuchi, one of the two survivors of the tragic Sosoliso plane crash, has honoured 60 of her schoolmates who lost their lives on December 10, 2005, with a remembrance post on her X account.
Okuchi, in an X post today, described those 60 students who lost their lives as “angels. ”

JABU rewards best graduating students with N1m cash prize
Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) has awarded cash awards of N1 million to the 19-year-old best graduating student of the institution, Mary Ogunmola, while 22 others who graduated with first-class honours also received N500,000 each for their outstanding academic performance.Apart from Ogunmola, who emerged as the best-graduating student with a CGPA of 4.89, those who emerged best in their departments in the second-class upper category also received N250,000 each as a reward for excellence.
