A departmental building at the School of Technology, Kano State Polytechnic, fell victim to a destructive fire outbreak, engulfing the Arts and Industrial Department in flames during the early hours of Tuesday morning, as reported by Daily Trust.

Confirming the incident, Saminu Yusif Abudullahi, spokesperson for the Kano State Fire Service, acknowledged the severity of the situation. He also mentioned that details regarding the extent of the loss incurred are yet to be determined.
