Prophet Sam Olu Alo has called on all levels of government to increase funding for primary education, emphasizing its crucial role in shaping future leaders.
Speaking in Ido-Ekiti, Ekiti State, during the distribution of over 2,500 free exercise books to underprivileged pupils, Alo stressed that this initiative aims to support the well-being of children regardless of their religious background.
He highlighted the importance of government support to prevent youth involvement in social vices and ensure that education remains accessible to all.
Alo, the Planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, reflected on his own early life struggles and urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and state governors to address the educational sector’s challenges. He pointed out the need for government intervention, particularly amid rising fuel prices, to alleviate the financial burdens on families and improve the quality of education.
In addition, Prophet Alo congratulated Oba Ilori-Faboro, the Olojudo of Ido-Ekiti, on his 70th birthday. He praised the monarch’s leadership and commitment to community development, offering prayers for his continued health and success.
