The Mobile Classroom App has awarded N4 million to 50 students through its VirtualTest initiative. This competition engaged students from various tertiary institutions across four academic categories: Mass Communication, Political Science, Business/Public Administration, and Social Science Education. Winners in each category received substantial prizes, with the top performer earning N150,000, while second and third place contestants received N120,000 and N80,000, respectively. Others who participated were awarded N50,000 each.

Founder Akeem Salami emphasized the initiative’s goal of boosting academic interest and engagement through technology. He highlighted that the app allows lecturers to create personalized class spaces, upload video lectures, and ensure their intellectual property is protected, while also generating daily earnings. This approach aims to provide students with repeated access to educational materials, enhancing their learning experience.

Salami described VirtualTest as a tool that not only facilitates learning but also helps students earn rewards for their efforts. By guiding students away from distractions, the app promotes purposeful academic pursuits and empowers them to take charge of their educational journey.
